Why the name Bluetooth? - Bluetooth name origin: Origin of the name Bluetooth

Why the name Bluetooth? - Bluetooth name origin: Origin of the name Bluetooth: I must say that, using the term Blue tooth is typically wrong, and the right way to call this technology is Blutooth and not Blue tooth( don't separate the words).Do you know why I asked to use the term as Blueetooth and not as Blue Tooth, because the inventors of this technology named this after the King of Denmark, called as Harald Bluetooth,

Why they named after Harald Bluetooth ?

I am sure this will be a million dolor question(sorry if I am wrong and you already knew the answer) and the answer is very simple. Harald Bluetooth was the King of Denmark in the 10th century. He is the key person who introduced Christianity, after uniting Denmark with some parts of Norway, and he also played a major role in uniting Scandinavia.

So practically our scientist compared the working of Bluetooth, i.e connecting devices which are closed together, to that of the King Harald Bluetooth, who united Norway and Denmark. Some sources also says that it is specifically named after this King of Denmark, so as to symbolize how the Communication Industry of the present world is related to major companies of Nordic region like, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
